The Student Employee Senior Award aims to recognize an outstanding senior student employee on the IU Bloomington campus who has demonstrated exceptional leadership while employed by the university. To be eligible, the student must be a part-time or traditional student employee. Preference will be given to students who are employed in non-academic roles.
Criteria
The selection committee considers the following criteria when evaluating each candidate.
- Demonstrated commitment to and passion for enriching campus community through their role
- Experience mentoring other employees and building community within the workplace
- Notable achievement within and/or beyond their employment
- Remarkable recommendation letter from their employer
Application Materials
Complete the online application. The application requires that you upload a current resume, 3 letters of recommendation with at least one coming from a university employer (which can also be sent directly by the recommenders to srawards@iu.edu), and 2 short essay responses (no more than 700 words for each response) on the topics below.
